College of Liberal Arts & Sciences
AAU Initiative Colloquium
Abstract:
My talk will touch on both career paths within and outside academia. I'll be talking about the lessons I learned from my academic job-hunting experience and how the students can prepare themselves to have a better chance of succeeding in the competitive academic job market. I would also share some examples to motivate the students to discover or possibly develop a career path based on transferable skills and personal interests outside academia.
