The Effect of Terazosin on the PGK1 Step of Glycolysis

$In this talk we will do an overview of the drug terazosin, what it does, and its role in the PGK1 step of glycolysis. We use differential equations to model the concentration of each configuration in the PGK1 step and afterward implement terazosin in this scheme. From this we determine how terazosin exudes its biphasic dose response, or non-monotone dose dependence, via a mechanism which is sometimes called competitive inhibitor stimulation.$
