Abstract:
The plan is to first go over definitions and some basic theory of Kahler Ricci flows and then state and discuss the main result concerning almost Kahler manifolds from the paper "Symplectic Curvature Flow" by Jeffrey Streets and Gang Tian. My hope is to be able to draw parallels between this flow and the well-known Kahler Ricci flow and then to mention some open problems and potential uses for this new flow on the study of four manifolds.
