Topic:
Generalized quartic anharmonic oscillator solutions
Abstract:
There are a number of methods for solving the one dimensional Schroedinger equation with polynomial potentials. We present a method based on the relationship between polynomial potentials and nilpotent groups. In particular we analyze the quartic anharmonic oscillator with the help of a nilpotent group called the quartic group and present solutions called quasi-exact solvable (QES) solutions. Applications to external electromagnetic field problems are also discussed.
