Math Physics Seminar
Speaker:
Yannick Meurice
Topic:
the perturbative envelope of the quantum advantage
Abstract:
The digitization of problems involving anharmonic oscillators for the purpose of quantum computing makes perturbation theory convergent instead of asymptotic. We compare the resources necessary to do real-time evolution with the two approaches. Part of this work is done in collaboration with Robert Maxton who will give the next seminar.
