Abstract:
In this talk we discuss the repetitive algebra of a finite dimensional algebra. We review its definition and its relation with the bounded derived category of a finite dimensional algebra with finite global dimension via the Happel’s functor. We also discuss some of the old and recent applications of the repetitive algebra in the representation theory of associative algebras and in the deformation theory of finite dimensional modules.
