Abstract:
In this talk I will present some results concerning existence of frame vectors associated with a representation of a group on a Hilbert space. 
     The main results identify an obstruction for the existence of a frame vector whenever the group action has an eigenvector. This situation is “opposite” to the case of the Baumslag-Solitar group, or Cuntz algebra representations when Parseval frames can be constructed.
