Abstract: 
Trisections of smooth oriented 4-manifolds are a generalization of Heegaard splittings of 3-manifolds, and a trisection can be similarly described by a set of curves on a closed orientable surface. This talk will introduce an algorithm for finding minimal genus trisections and trisection diagrams of (closed) surface bundles. We will focus on a trisection of spun $RP^3$, viewed as an $S^2$ bundle over $RP^2$.
