Title: Representations of Corepresentations,

Abstract: In this talk I will discuss the notion of a corepresentation of a finite dimensional coassociative coalgebra and the relationship between corepresentations and representations of algebras. We will see how the additional coalgebra/comodule structure on an algebra imparts additional structure to the representation category. Lastly, I will discuss the role that comodule algebras play in the characterization of exact module categories and discuss their role in my research.

This talk will assume no background in corepresentation theory and should be accessible to all comfortable with linear algebra.
