The Fellows of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) program recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics.  Weimin Han is among thirty-nine mathematical scientists from around the world who have been named AMS Fellows for 2023, for his contributions to numerical methods and analysis of non-smooth problems in mechanics and engineering.
