Coherent States of the q-Canonical Commutation Relations

In the context of C*-algebras, we study the problem of generators and relations, with an emphasis on a q-parameter dependency for the C*-algebras A(q) for q in the interval from -1 to 1.
Specific results: The endpoints are C* algebras from quantum physics (details in the talk), and in the case q=0 is the Cuntz algebra, i.e., arising as A(0). We further identify a central q interval where the C* algebras A(q) are mutually isomorphic, i.e., the isomorphism class of A(0). We address a dichotomy question.
