On April 13-14, the Department of Mathematics hosted the Midwest Numerical Analysis Day 2024 conference on the campus of the University of Iowa. The conference attracted about 60 outside participants and about 30 internal participants. There were three invited presentations and fifty-one special session presentations. All the three invited speakers are top numerical analysts in the world:
