Faculty conduct research in diverse areas of imaging and signal processing.

The group in imaging and signal processing does research in the mathematical aspect of problems of formation, acquisition, compression, transmission, and analysis of images. This includes inverse problems, compressed sensing, reconstruction algorithms, differential equations, computational harmonic analysis, machine learning, as well as their applications such as medical imaging, computational photography, and seismic imaging.
