Lab Administration

Amanda Marr is the Director of the Mathematics Tutorial Laboratory. She graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Iowa in 2014 and an M.A. in Mathematics Education in 2021 from the University of Northern Iowa. Amanda taught Eighth Grade Math and Algebra in Dunlap, Illinois before returning to Iowa City.

     Dr. Olga Sokratova is the Faculty Consultant for the Mathematics Tutorial Laboratory.

Tutors

The tutors in the Math Lab are graduate students and undergraduate math majors. To see a picture of a particular tutor, look for him or her in the department directory and click on the name. The tutors are ready and able to aid students in their efforts. Students can ask any tutor on duty for help, or they can seek out their own TA. With such a variety of tutors working, students can find someone with whom they can learn.
