Since October 2024, Department of Mathematics faculty members Ionut Chifan, Hao Fang, and Keiko Kawamuro, and then-graduate student Adriana Fernandez Quero have been organizing math club meetings with students at Southeast Middle School.

On Tuesday, April 29th, Mathematics faculty, students, and staff gathered in Muhly Lounge to celebrate the school year and present awards to undergraduate and graduate students.

Graduate student Jacob Van Grinsven, has been awarded the CLAS Dissertation Writing Fellowship to support the completion of his dissertation, “Exact Rep(H) module categories for Hopf algebras over the Kac-Paljutkin Hopf Algebra.”
